Project Abraham in conjunction with our major project sponsor, the Zita and Mark Bernstein Family Foundation, is providing thirty-three 20’x20’ garden plots to eleven Yezidi families for growing fresh high-quality produce.

Located at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at Bayview and Major Mackenzie, we are providing the Yezidis with the land, plants, and equipment to grow vegetable crops.  Many thanks to Tamara Bernstein for her financial support, and to St. Paul's for helping our Yezidi families join St. Paul’s garden community.

Also, thanks to Sheridan Nurseries, and Foodshare Toronto for their donations of seeds and seedlings.

This a wonderful and exciting project for the Yezidi community, and a wonderful opportunity for community engagement.
